Greek for Adults

The Greek language and culture are one of the oldest and most beautiful in the world!

It's no wonder why thousands of adults around the world choose to learn Greek each day even if they are not of Greek heritage.

We teach Modern Greek as a second/foreign language to English speaking adults. Our courses focus on the four main language skills (Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking) by using different teaching methods.

Modern Greek Language & Culture Classes for Adults

Why learn Greek as an adult?

Family and friends!

Stay connected with your Greek heritage and culture and be able to communicate with family and friends locally, around the world and in Greece.

Holidays!

Greece is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world attracting over 32 million people a year!  Most Greeks are fluent in English but speaking the mother language makes your holidays more memorable with the locals.

Science, Medicine, Law, Biology ...

Over 90% of the terminology in humanities and sciences is Greek. If you are working or studying in any of these fields you will find it easier if you learn Greek.

One language that influences the world

Greek is one of the oldest languages on Earth and has influenced the evolution of many languages around the world. About 35% of the English vocabulary is derived from the Greek language and Modern Greek is the continuity of the Ancient Greek language. Awesome, yes?

History and culture that is alive and thriving

Greek history and culture are rooted in the ancient fabric that humankind evolved from. Even in modern times, Greek still plays a heavy influence on our everyday lives. Are you a fan of Game of Thrones? Perhaps you should check out the original epics from Homer that heavily influenced this modern-day drama.

The people, culture and food is amazing

Learning a language is mostly about understanding a culture. When you learn Greek you’ll be amazed by the beauty of the Greek people, our food, music, poetry, and literature.
