Greek Language
The Greek language has the longest documented history of any living language and holds an important place in the history of the Western world and Christianity.
The Greek language is spoken in Greece, Cyprus and of course many other countries around the world, like
Australia, by people of Greek origin and many Philhellenes.
Greek Culture & History
Greece and the Greek People are steeped in a very rich history and culture. Greeks have made an enormous impact on civilization since ancient times and our culture has evolved over thousands of years.
We are very proud to continue teaching our history and culture to the Greek diaspora and our Philhellenes.

Greek Orthodox Faith
Greece and Orthodoxy are closely connected due to our motherland country’s historical past.

Father Petros Kipouros from our local church of St Nicholas in Kingston provides assists in observing the major religious holidays and celebrations in the Greek Orthodox calendar.

Greek Sunday School is held separate to our Greek School.

Our Location
With many thanks to the Hellenic Club of Canberra, we are proud to be able to operate the Greek School of Canberra within the clubs premises.
Our classrooms are fully segregated from patrons, for your children's safety, whilst you enjoy the clubs facilities and dinning.
Our facilities include five classrooms, indoor and secure outdoor play areas, storage facilities, bathrooms and an office area.
